Most people know me as the drummer for Nothing but Trouble. Depending who you ask, I'm also a playboy, a loner, the life of the party, a screw-up, or according to my fans, "The Sexiest Rock Star on the Planet." Apparently, I'm a legend.
Am I surprised? Hell, no. It's a reputation I've earned behind my drum kit and behind closed doors. No one thought foster kid Landon Cox would become famous. Infamous, maybe. Notorious, probably. But successful? Never. No one except Piper Hastings. But I had to make a choice: my woman or my career. I picked fame and fortune... and spent every damn day since pretending I don't regret it.
Now fate's dropped Piper back into my life. I want to believe it's a second chance for me - for us. But while I can give her a few great nights, I can't give Piper a future.

Rock star romances are like a bad habit for me. I love them even when they rip my heart out, which is exactly what Rock Legend did to me!
Landon Cox is one of the hottest drummers around, but he's sacrificed for all his success. His past weighs on his mind all the time and he surrounds himself with the typical rockstar vices to try and forget about that past.
Piper is part of that past, but currently she also works for Landon's boss and tries to avoid running into Landon until it is inevitable. They both still love each other and for a quick moment it really seems like they were meant to be. Then things happen and it just starts to spiral and that's where my broken heart came in to play. (My Kindle only almost went flying a couple of times.)
These two were awesome together and Landon was HAWT, but it wasn't easy for them and it was plenty angsty in parts (which I personally love). Drugs, sex, and rock 'n' roll can set you up with a great life, but if you don't have the right tools to handle the success, you will inevitably stumble. What matters is who you have in your world to help you when you need it most, and if you're willing to accept that help when offered.
I've loved both books in this series and will be eagerly awaiting Dax's story coming this fall!
